ABOUT US
Founder: Liza Marie Odom — Lifelong Learner, Passionate Mother, and Chief Oddball Officer
Oddball Academy was born from a deeply personal place: a mother’s love, an educator’s eye, and a relentless drive to create something better.
My name is Liza Marie Odom. I’ve dedicated my life to helping children thrive—from majoring in education and earning a degree in psychology to pursuing my master’s in special education. My career has spanned special education classrooms, DHS child welfare, and community-based family engagement. I’ve had the honor of consulting on early childhood programs, literacy initiatives, wellness partnerships, and career-readiness programs with state agencies like Oklahoma CareerTech and the Department of Education.
But none of that compares to the inspiration I found in my own home.

STEM Courses
STEM learning should be accessible, flexible, and fun. Our courses are intentionally designed to support learners at every stage with hands-on, inquiry-based exploration in a consistent weekly structure. Whether you're looking for a short course, ongoing enrichment, or a competition-ready robotics experience—we’ve got you covered.

Saturday Workshops
Where curiosity connects families.
Our 2-hour Family STEM Saturday Workshops invite children and their caregivers to explore science, engineering, and technology together through hands-on, inquiry-based learning. Grounded in the PBS KIDS FCL model, these workshops strengthen family bonds while boosting children's confidence, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Support Our Mission
We are reimagining STEM education for the next generation of thinkers, builders, and problem-solvers. Our immersive, hands-on learning experiences spark curiosity, build confidence, and develop real-world skills in children ages 3–14. Whether you’re a grantmaker, local business, community partner, or education advocate - we’d love to hear from you.
